I wanted to make a small leather sheath for one of my favourite little whittling knives (Buck Trio). This is also my first attempt at molding leather.
I only recently aquired the tools and a book that I needed to allow me to sew leather properly. This is my first real attempt at sewing, since there aquisition.
Made a couple of mistakes along the way, but am learning from them
I was very happy with how this little project turned out. The knife is securely held in, by friction and would not fall out, even when the snap is open.
I was pleasantly suprised at how quick it all came together, only a few hours work and I am sure the next one would be a lot quicker!
Thanks for looking. Any constructive comments are very much appreciated! I still have a lot to learn!!!
